The "MUSEUM" in the sofitel used to be the old lobby of the former "Railway Hotel".
though it's nicely restaurated, it can't cope with the ambiance it used to have in the old days of
1983. (the ambiance of 1983 was probaly not as good as the one of 1953 and so forth),
but I am shure you wouldn't have seen anybody walking in his swimm suit through the lobby
of this fine hotel.
The Thais, tolerant as they are, specially to their paying guests, say nothing but smile.
But these fat old ladies in shorts, tits half out of daddys muscle shirt make me sick...
The service is very friendly, almost a little bit too much devoted. Prices are up international standard
but here you can find a true cup uf coffee, even european cakes if you travel to asia for that.
Nevertheless it's the best place in Hua Hin to read your Bankok Post in the shade of their wooden patio.
